My Fitness Journey

In all reality, my journey began on Jan 1, 2011.  I got  off to a great start, was highly motivated and built up a wonderful support group of women online who were (are) on the same journey as me.

Then, let's just say, I got seriously sidetracked by a series of events which overshadowed my desire to become a healthier and happier person in 2011.

So, now, I have re-packed my bag of necessities. I searched until I found my desire, hunted for more motivational and supportive people to add to my arsenal and after consulting my map, have chosen a slightly different path, which leads to the same final destination.

 I have decided to begin this journey with the 21 Day Made To Crave Challenge.  Though I am not constantly consumed with a desire for food, I realize that I do use food to reward or punish myself.  I am not an emotional eater, I am the opposite - an emotional 'starver'.  When facing emotional pain, I turn away from food and have gone weeks without any type of nourishment at all besides water and coffee.
